Situated in self, away from maya, modes of nature and desires prevailing,
I chant to you Lord - The digambara who the sky as garment is wearing.

The one who is formless, Omkar’s origin, beyond the three gunas being,
Beyond speech, knowledge and senses, grace bestower, virtues dwelling

In his ears striking kundalas* and beautiful eyebrows and eyes having,
Cheerful, blue necked , extremely kind, compassionate, understanding,
Wrapped by lions skin and a garland prepared of skulls he is wearing,
He dearest to all and the Lord of all - his name Shankara I am chanting.
